Our History

Founded by Rosalyn Thompson-Blackwell and Derrick Blackwell in honor of their son, Miles, the organization continues Miles’ legacy of service.   The first project venture by the foundation was the 1st annual 4Miles Kindness Fundraiser Gala which awarded scholarships to thirteen students.  Through the Miles Blackwell Foundation, MB Solutions, Inc. actively turns tragedy towards triumph each day. The Miles Blackwell Foundation supports the local community in various ways.

Since the Miles Blackwell Foundation inception, the community has embraced the foundation, supported the mission, and attended various events all to help the foundation achieve its goals.  

With the continuing help of generous supporters from our own community and MB Solutions Inc. funding our mission, the future is promising for the foundation, as well as the many young people who will benefit from the cause. The hard work and dedication that is put forth not only positively impacts the lives of students, but also allows us to continue the legacy and honor the spirit of Miles Blackwell.
